Salt Therapy and Allergy sufferers

Our saltrooms have been specifically constructed to help allergy sufferers get relief for their symptoms in a safe, peaceful environment which resembles a salt cave more than a high-tech treatment facility!

Prescription drugs bring temporary relief but the allergy can recur - again and again. If you are suffering from allergies, you should strongly consider halotherapy. It will not only bring much needed relief but it also prevents the frequent recurrence of your allergy symptoms.

Salt therapy provides allergy relief by fluidising congestion and reducing inflammation of the airways and mucus membranes. This means that the body is better able to flush allergens out of the respiratory tract more effectively.

If you are suffering from allergy symptoms, salt therapy can bring you some much needed natural relief.

Experts including Asthma UK are backing the treatment, called Halotherapy.

Salt therapy claims to work by clearing the airways of mucus and reducing inflammation triggered by allergies to dust, pollen or pollution.

These particles, invisible to the naked eye, penetrate deep into the respiratory system. Minerals including potassium and magnesium are said to help reduce inflammation and clean out mucus blocking the airways.

Experts have already found that asthmatics can breathe easier if they are sent down salt mines.

A Finnish study found that sufferers' lungs were less likely to show allergic "hyper-responsiveness" to their environment
